Relationship between brake pedal force and master cylinder pressure

Master cylinder pressure can be calculated using the following equation.

Considering:

– Boost Ratio = 3.26

– Efficiency = 100%

– Master cylinder diameter = 23.89mm

 


Gives:

master_cylinder_pressure_values

 

Note!  N/mm^2 = MPa

 

The relationship between the master cylinder pressure and brake force is directly proportional as show in the following figure:
